We are pleased to announce the release of the first of our regional UK geochemical databases (West of Shetland) that have been compiled in p:IGI format using geochemical data released onto the website of the Oil and Gas Authority (OGA) from Shell, Exxon & APT.
We have been busy updating our Petroleum Geochemistry and Basin & Petroleum Systems Modelling training courses, ensuring they are relevant and up to date. Â

It is with great sadness that we have to pass on the news that Chris Cornford, Director and founder of IGI Ltd. , passed away in the early hours of Saturday 4th November.
Cold seeps are areas in which hydrocarbons and water released in buried sediments and rocks are transported to the surface in sub-aerial (Mazzini et al. , 2008) or marine settings (Kopf, 2002).
Paul Farrimond will be attending this meeting at the Geological Society, Burlington House, Piccadilly on 27th-28th November, and looks forward to meeting some of our clients there.
Our next set of courses have been scheduled for March 2018 they will be held at our offices in the UK. The 5 day Basin and Petroleum Systems Modelling course will run from 12 - 16 March, and the 5 day Petroleum Geochemistry course from 5 - 9 March.
